Introducing our Year 7 Teacher Dr. Nicole Wolf

We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Nicole Wolf as the new Year 7 teacher, who will be leading our very first cohort. Nicole brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role, making her an excellent addition to our school community. She is not only an accomplished educator but also a dedicated family person, married with two teenage children. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of hobbies, including playing music - she's skilled in the saxophone, clarinet, oboe, and flute - traveling, reading, and staying active through sports like tennis and horse riding.

Nicole's educational journey began in Germany, where she earned her teaching qualifications through the first and second ‘Staatsexamen.’ Her expertise spans across subjects such as Music, Maths, Biology, and Art. She also holds a Master’s degree in Multimedia Didactics and a PhD in Empirical Educational Science. Her diverse background includes teaching in various secondary schools, with a particular focus on Year 7 and 8 students, as well as working as a Research Associate for the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics in Darmstadt and as a University Lecturer at several universities in Germany and New Zealand. Over the last 12 years she has trained prospective teachers.

As a teacher, Nicole is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their best, guiding them on their educational journey. She loves working with students, inspiring them to engage deeply with her subjects, and values the uniqueness of each student, providing tailored support to help them thrive. Nicole finds joy in observing students' personal and academic growth and in fostering a love for learning. She encourages her students to think critically, ask questions, and develop confidence in themselves.

Nicole is eagerly looking forward to preparing her students for future challenges, sharing her enthusiasm for Science, Art and Music, and creating a classroom environment where everyone feels like part of a supportive community. She can't wait to meet you and your families as we embark on this exciting journey together.
